Construction of 52.2km of new road and widening and strengthening of 21.6km of existing urban road to a double carriageway standard (four lanes) including separator median, pedestrian walkways, bridges, culverts and three major interchanges (N1 road at Marracuene, N1 road at Zimpeto, N4 road near Bairro Tchumene). Construction of sub-grade, cement stabilised sub-base and crushed stone base. Bituminous asphalt surfacing. Relocation numerous services, including telephone, water, electricity and sanitation. Construction of lateral and cross drainage elements.
